An eagerly awaited collaboration that celebrates both the infamous Macba skate spot and Barcelona’s Rufus skate shop, these all-black New Balance Numeric x Rufus 379 Shoes are designed to cater to any hard-hitting skate style. Offering subtle uplifts to the recently released 379’s from earlier this year, these suede sneakers are styled with a fully vulcanised gum-rubber sole and jet-black rubberised trims to the outsole and reinforced toe bumper. An angled black heel brace below a reflective-striped heel pull delivers protection to the rear, whilst the internal hidden toe protector and the sleek bartack stitching across all seams helps to implement a rigid sense of structure throughout. The 6-eyelet lacing system helps to keep the twin-texture perforated tongue in place across the arch of the foot, while the all-black embroidered ‘N’ side decal and metallic-silver ‘Numeric 379’ branding sticks with tradition. Across the tip of the tongue, there’s space for one of four velcro-attached patches supplied with the design, all of which can be easily swapped out to suit. Custom PU insoles seal the design with the left-foot hosting a ‘Rufus’ brand emblem across the heel and an architectural print that flows into the ‘Macba Life Barcelona’ branded right-foot.
